AUGUST, Ga. – Big names lost the cut in the Masters of 2022, but the standings are still ready for a strong closure beyond the last 36 holes. The action continues on Saturday as Moving Day occupies Augusta National with some of the best golfers in the world trying to put themselves in a position to win the green jacket. Whether it is a debutant or a defending champion who wants to add a few extra threads to his wardrobe, the competition will be hot and heavy this weekend. With temperatures expected to remain low and winds likely to swirl again on Saturday, the hours golfers will get on the pitch will be ideal. The times and pairs for Round 3 were released by Augusta National and there is top-notch golf throughout the third set of 18 holes. Tiger Woods, who held his head steady on his way home on Friday, is nine shots behind world No. 1 and 36-hole leader Scottie Scheffler. Woods has a comfy T-shirt with Kevin Kisner at 1 p.m. ET. Justin Thomas, who met Scheffler 67 on Friday – the round of the tournament – will start at 1:40 p.m. 2020 champion Dustin Johnson and 2021 champion Hindeki Matsuyama, who may have the best chance of defeating Scheffler in the final 36 holes, will follow each other at 2:20 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., respectively.
