Sprecher | Bloomberg | Getty Images “At one point, you can not continue to absorb all these costs and run a business that is economical,” Jassi told CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin in an interview with the Squawk Box on Thursday. “We know very well that sellers also have costs,” Jassy said. “We will continue to look at how costs are evolving and we will reconsider.” Some sellers expressed frustration with the end, noting that they had already absorbed another FBA cost increase that took effect in January. “I think some of the issues that are happening right now in China, where, you know, as there are variations and they are very conservative and the production lock is creating some problems in getting products as fast as we need to,” Jassy said. “Transporting products to the country is even more expensive and time-consuming. So there are still challenges in the supply chain.”
