Angel, who was described as a lively young woman, was unable to walk, talk or eat after suffering horrific injuries in September 2020 at the hands of her boyfriend, Chay Bowskill. Angel, who was 19 at the time, was abducted as she was walking near her home in Loughborough in September 2020 and was forced into a truck driven by Bowskill’s friend Rocco Sansome, the Mirror reported.
It was on the A6 that Angel fell from the van, suffering severe brain injuries that left her paralyzed, leaving her family shocked. Now, there seems to be some hope 18 months later.

Since then, he has been suffering from a series of debilitating seizures. The doctors had been afraid of the worst from the beginning with Angelos. After being attacked by Covid-19, she almost died, leaving her family with the possible grief that could come. “They let us sleep with her all week because they said she would not make it,” Nicky’s mom revealed. However, even after the horrific incident, mom Nicki held her daughter tightly every day, squeezing every ounce of love she could on her daughter’s motionless body. For months, Angel showed no reaction, but that changed two weeks ago. For the first time since her abduction, Angel reacted to Nikki’s arms by placing her right hand around her mom in return. With one hand pressed lightly on Nikki’s back, Angel then moved to stroke her hair. It’s a moment Nikki thought would never happen. She, Paddy’s husband and the rest of Angel’s family had said many times that Angel could die, making the hug even more special. It was a decision that angered the Lynn family, with the Court of Appeal increasing Bowskill’s prison sentence to 12 years two weeks ago. Coincidentally, it was during this stressful time for the family that Angel made her incredible discovery. If a hug was not a big enough achievement, Angelos, who is now 21 years old and is being cared for around the clock, has smiled and even tried to give a kiss. She has also moved, held the TV remote control and written words answering questions using her right hand. She also makes noises – a sign that could eventually lead her to reveal exactly what happened to her that fateful day. “A doctor once called me and said, ‘Nicky, you have to accept that Angelos is not going to make it,’” recalls Nicky, 54. it’s not going to be a miracle. ” But a miracle happened. This hug was a miracle. She was looking straight inside you, there was nothing in her eyes. Now he can smile spontaneously. “When she started making the sounds, we gave her a pen and a piece of paper and said, ‘Are you okay?’ Are you in pain?’ And he wrote “No”. He can give you a thumbs up for yes. “Now she can press her nurse button to finish them, she has that sense of humor.” “He had a cheeky sense of humor. “Slowly I feel that we are starting to take it back.” Daddy Paddy is also shocked by his daughter’s progress. “He gave me a kiss,” he said. “She puts her hand in her mouth and holds it there for at least a minute and then tries to blow. Tries. That means a lot. “ The avalanche of small landmarks coincided with Angel removing the anticonvulsant drug, Baclofen. It is a step they hope can be repeated with her seizure medication in an effort to make her eat again. Angel is currently being fed through a tube in her stomach. To make her feel at home, the family brought bed linen and towels from home to her caregivers to help her recover. Her nails and hair are also made. Eventually, the family wants their home. However, this will require the construction of an extension to their home so that they can install specialized facilities. The Lynns will also have to hire a caregiver – decisions that will cost a lot of money, with the family now doing what they can to raise money for Angel’s long-term care. After many hardships over the last 18 months, the family now dares to dream that Angel will get even better. With all the hugs and kisses they give, their faith grows stronger. “She’m locked in, but every time I see her I’m telling her, ‘Don’t give up, keep trying, keep telling yourself you can do it,’” Nikki said.
