On Friday, a support document that was briefly posted and then removed from Apple’s website described Apple’s unreleased 35W USB-C dual-port power adapter, according to AppleInsider. Although the leak did not indicate when it will be released, it seems that it may be a matter of a few months until it sees the light of day. In a tweet on Saturday, TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo identified the leak, claiming that parts for the product were “approaching mass production.” While a product entering production is a positive sign for a product, there is no definitive timeline for its release, but it could easily appear within a few months. Kuo is on the rise for the adapter prospects, adding that estimates for its missions in 2022 range from 2 to 3 million. Apple is believed to be working on GaN chargers for a while, with speculation that it will be released sometime in 2022. GaN (Gallium Nitride) power adapters are usually smaller and more efficient than silicon-based versions, although it is not known if the leaked charger is a GaN model. In March, Kuo made a prediction that Apple’s first GaN charger would be “around 30 W”, a claim he also repeated in a tweet. 20220410-091610
