Police are searching for Eric John Shestalo, 50, who is on the run after a shooting at a Chilliwack home Thursday morning. Mounties with the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment went to the home in the 9700 block of McNaught Avenue, on the northeast side of Fraser Valley Township, about 11 a.m. after a report of three people shot. When officers arrived, they found one woman dead, another woman with life-threatening injuries and a man with non-life-threatening injuries. The man was treated by paramedics at the scene. The second woman was airlifted to Royal Columbian Hospital, where she later died. The case has been taken over by the Integrated Homicide Investigation. Police believe Shestalo was known to the victims and the shooting was targeted.
