Apple has been rumored to be releasing headphones at the event, but the report reiterates that the company may miss the date for a full hardware debut. Instead, the headphones could arrive later in the year or even next year. But for WWDC 2022, Apple would unveil iOS 16, which in turn has references to the headset and its interactions with the iPhone, suggesting that a sneak peek might be right. The company will host select developers and students in person at Apple Park for the keynote address, so it could take the opportunity to let them know more about what will follow in this new arena.
