The backhoe robbers have struck again, this time targeting a pharmacy in Pasadena. The machine was used to take out an ATM from the Medicine Shoppe on Main Street late Monday night. The perpetrators left a path of destruction in their wake, with the backhoe bouncing away from the scene. Officers from Deer Lake and Corner Brook responded and found the machine abandoned near the Pasadena industrial park where it had been stolen. Police say the ATM was recovered, adding that the thieves never took the money inside. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
