All the old ones are new again. Get the three colors announced today to join the Beats Studio Buds family: Sunset Pink, Ocean Blue and Moon Gray.

As we pointed out in the in-depth review of Studio Buds, the unique custom chip of these headphones offers Android and iOS users an equally intuitive listening experience. And for just $ 150, the Beats Studio Buds, in any color, are a great, lower-cost alternative to more expensive headphones like the Beats Powerbeats Pro, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro or Apple AirPods Pro.

In addition to the new nuances, Beats also includes updated software in its application to improve the audio experience for all users. Here’s what you need to know about the latest Beats Studio Buds.

The beauty of Beats Studio Buds has always been the ability to quickly pair with Android and iOS devices, making headphones a more popular choice. With the announcement of these new colors, the company added new features to its application, allowing all compatible Beats products to receive and use software updates directly from their device.

“Locate My Beats” will use the same technology that Apple customers receive with the Find My app, allowing Android users to locate their headphones through the app. In addition, new in-app product widgets now allow you to access battery life, control listening features, and update firmware.

The colors themselves range from beautiful to elegant to bright. The pastel bubble gum Sunset Pink and the matte mid Moon Gray have both black Beats logos on the face of their covers, while the royal Ocean Blue leads with a bright red logo. We found them playful and worth a look if you want to change things from the typical white and black of most wireless headphones.

Aside from the striking new colors, the three additions to the Beats Studio Buds series look identical to their siblings. This means that they will still offer a comfortable fit for your basic, daily activities, even without the ear hooks or wings found in more expensive versions such as the PowerBeats Pro or the Beats Fit Pro gym. You can also catch them in the original black, white and Beats Red.

In terms of performance, you will have the same high standards that are aimed at a more general listener. We appreciate that Studio Buds comes with a more balanced sound than the previous Beats sound, bass forward, which works beautifully on all genres. If you use Apple Music to stream your tunes, they also take advantage of Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.

And because these are true wireless headphones, they offer powerful Active Noise Canceling (ANC) and even better transparency functionality, allowing ambient noises, such as announcements and traffic, to flow while you listen.

As mentioned, the battery life remains stable at just over eight hours at 50% intensity and about five hours with ANC enabled, while you can have an extra two hours with the charging case.

If you want to add a little more pizza to your handset experience, the three bright colors of Beats Studio Buds are a great place to start. We’ve always admired the recognition of Android users by Beats with this custom chip and their add-ons now make an even better purchase.

In addition, we like that all Beats products using the app will also be boosted, offering access to “Locate My Beats” and even deeper features to control your headphones. And without raising the price, you can still get them all for just $ 150.
