Fox News State Department correspondent Benjamin Hall gave a health briefing after a horrific attack in Ukraine that left two of his colleagues dead. Hall was rescued from the war zone last month and taken to a hospital in Germany. He was later transferred to a top military medical unit in Texas where he underwent multiple surgeries. One arm is joined, one eye is no longer working and my hearing is quite unbearable … but overall I feel very lucky to be here “And the people who brought me here are amazing!” Hall wrote on Twitter on Thursday night, sharing a picture of himself from the hospital. Hall also honored veteran Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshinova. Both were killed in the attack. Last year, he played a key role in removing Afghan independent associates and their families from the country following the US withdrawal. In December, Zakrzewski was honored with the “Unsung Hero” award during the FOX News Media Spotlight Awards. Zakrzewski’s funeral took place last week in Ireland. “Dear Benjamin, our gratitude for your survival is overflowing. We pray the Lord will pour His grace and power upon you in your recovery.
