Investigators have collected corpses – many with gunshot wounds or severe burns, many with their hands still tied – across Bucha, where the dead were found in mass graves and scattered in the city streets. Photos from Bouha on Wednesday showed dozens of bags of corpses at a local cemetery as police began identifying the dead before sending them to local morgues. Dead civilians, dressed in jeans and winter coats, wearing sneakers, could be seen through the open zippers of a handful of bags as police did their job. More than 60 bodies have been collected in Bucha in the last day. In Motyzhyn, 30 miles west of Kiev, residents are still facing the death of Mayor Olha Sukhenko, who was found in a shallow grave two days ago next to the bodies of her husband, Ihor, and their 25-year-old son, Oleksander.
