The police were sent to the point, outside Lincoln Street, just before 11am, when a citizen phoned to say that it seemed to be a corpse that aborted to the river, according to a press release issued on Friday. “An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death, however, at this time, police do not believe that crime is a factor,” the statement said. The body was positively identified as local and his closest relatives have been notified, he added.
