The Mastiff was armed with machine guns and grenade launchers when it was deployed by British forces, but it is understood that the Ukrainian army will deploy its own weapons. Defense sources told The Telegraph that Ukrainian troops are likely to be trained in how to use left-hand drive vehicles in a neighboring country. Sources added that an initial batch of 120 armored vehicles will be shipped to Ukraine, including the Mastiffs and a number of other models, which is likely to increase to 200 in the coming months.
