Calgary Police Service officials are scheduled to release additional details about the investigation into Tammie ‘Irish’ Howard’s disappearance and suspected murder during a press conference Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the ongoing five-year missing persons report investigation has linked a light-colored Jeep Wrangler to her death.

Family members reported Howard missing to police in April 2017, after she was last heard on Christmas Eve 2016. Police said Howard had a high-risk lifestyle and it was not unusual for him to be out of touch with her. her family for long periods of time. She was 49 when she was reported missing.
Investigators have not released the nature of Howard’s death, whether her body has been located or whether an arrest has been made in the case.
