Police said around 4:30 p.m. On April 7, a woman walking near 4th Street and Elbow Drive SW spotted a man in a white Dodge truck that appeared to be following her. The truck passed her several times on 4th Street and the driver came into visual contact with her. The truck followed as she was crossing the street at 20 SW Avenue. Police said she tried to talk to her while committing an obscene act. The victim then screamed and the man left in the car, heading south on 4th Street.

The victim wrote down the number plate of the truck, providing a detailed description of the suspect to the police. The CPS publicly thanked the victim for the “extraordinary detail… in a stressful and worrying situation”. Trending Stories
