The shooting took place near a Barnes & Noble store in the Victor Valley Mall of Victorville at around 6:30 p.m., according to KABC-TV. Shoppers and employees fell into stores as the mall went into lockdown, the station said. The young victim was reportedly taken to hospital in an unknown condition. The girl was taken to the hospital, her condition is unknown. KABC-TV No other injuries were reported immediately. The suspect remained free. The mall is located approximately 80 miles outside of LA in San Bernardino County.
