Dennis Anderson, 45, and Brandy Goldsbury, 46, were traveling from the beach in Lincoln City on the Oregon coast back to their home in Tigard around 8:30 p.m. on July 13, when they spotted a black BMW 3 Series trying to overtake them. in the report in The Oregonian. Goldsbury told the newspaper that her partner sprayed windshield wiper fluid on the windshield of their car and that some of the fluid may have landed on the BMW. “I was like, ‘Ignore him, he’s just having a bad day,’” Anderson recalled telling the other driver. The BMW sped away, but a few miles later, at a rest area near Otis, Goldsbury said, she and her partner spotted the same car parked on the side of the road. Anderson drove away from the BMW, which then began following him, according to Goldsbury, driving close to the rear of their car as if trying to hit it. After several apparent attempts to run Anderson off the road, Goldsberry said, she told him to pull over and call 911 for help, which he did as he got out of the vehicle. Goldsberry unbuckled her seat belt and got out of the car to call for help. “By the time I got to him, blood was coming out of his mouth,” she said of her fatally wounded partner.
