The incident happened around 9.55 a.m.  on Barony Road, Auchinleck, Ayrshire and belonged to a silver Astra. 

Emergency crews, including Scottish Police and Scottish Ambulance Serviced, rushed to the scene. The road was closed today while the police were investigating. It is not believed to have reopened and drivers are advised to avoid the area. There are local diversions. Officers have now launched an investigation into the crash and are appealing to anyone with any information about what happened.
