The announcement late Sunday closed a whirlwind week. Mr. Musk’s 9.2% stake in Twitter was announced last Monday, his plans to join the board were announced on Tuesday and he spent much of the weekend writing on Twitter criticisms, suggestions and obvious jokes about the company.
