Merseytravel services from Hoylake have been canceled due to obstacles on the slopes. As a result, a rail bus replacement service has been launched. The bus will carry passengers between West Kirby and Hoylake in both directions until the tree can be removed from the tracks. It is not yet known how the tree fell on the rails, however strong winds have been reported in Merseyside this morning. They estimate that the tree may take an hour to be removed from the traces. A spokesman also thanked the passengers for their patience and understanding as they solve the problem. They said: “An uproar is expected due to a fallen tree blocking the lines between Hoylake and West Kirby. “Rail services from West Kirby will be terminated and start behind Hoylake.
