Ferrari owner crashed 3 km after delivery Back to video
I say that because shortly after acquiring his “nice” one, a new Ferrari 488, the first thing he did was, unfortunately, crash it, as he drove less than two miles (3.2 km). It is possible to say that the ink was still wet on the invoice.
Fortunately, he was not injured and according to a Daily Mail article, there were no charges or arrests, which led me to believe that gross negligence was the culprit, as opposed to drunkenness.

The Derbyshire Police Road Unit posted a Tweet about the consequences, which shows two photos that would probably make Ferrari fans cry. Interestingly, the bumper looks untouched while the hood is clearly pushed upwards, which leads Detective Kana to believe that the driver hit the brakes – bringing the nose down and the rear end high – and collided with a large object with enough force to create the damage you see. I certainly would not be so careless with my goodies, even if the goodness is worth half my house. Case. Closed.
