A Florida man has been arrested in a car crash in Naples after being found in possession of a live baby alligator, guns and full syringes on Friday morning. Michael Marolla, 31, was stopped by local law enforcement around 12:30 p.m. after police said they recognized him from a previous meeting about a permit that had been suspended. Marola was one of three people in the car, including Adam Scarborough and Marco Duran, according to police arrest records. SUSPECTS TO TAKE A WEAPON SHOP IN AGRICULTURE Police at the scene found an alligator baby “in an open plastic tub” in the back of Marolla’s truck, according to a Facebook post from Collier County Sheriff’s office. They found two firearms, one hidden in the locker and another under the passenger seat, police said. Lettuce was also found with two full syringes in his jacket which were later found to be positive for methamphetamine, police said.
