Galaxy Flip 4 And Fold 4 To Sport Physical Fingerprint Scanner Again

According to BusinessKorea, the Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 will not have a fingerprint sensor on the screen and will instead have a side-mounted scanner. Samsung reportedly did not apply the fingerprint scanner to its fold, because it believes that the side-mounted scanner offers a better user experience. Earlier rumors had it that the Flip 4 and Fold 4 would include a monitor, but this was based on a patent filed with the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is not clear when Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Fold 4 or the Flip 4. However, the foldable smartphones will probably be released in either August or September.
