Gloucestershire police were called to St Ann Way following reports of an attack shortly before 9 p.m. The force confirmed that there was a “quarrel” between two groups of people. They confirmed that one person was left with “serious injuries” and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after the incident. The police have now issued an appeal. READ MORE: The family was left heartbroken after the burial of the brother in the wrong grave In a statement issued just before 10:30 p.m. Sunday night, police said: “We are calling for witnesses following a report of an attack in Gloucester (Sunday, April 10). “Police were called shortly after 9pm to report a clash between two groups on St Ann Way, near the intersection with Llanthony Road. One person was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries. St Ann Way remains on currently closed. “Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen any disturbance in the area around 9 p.m. Anyone with information should contact the Gloucestershire Constabulary via the website, citing incident 406 of 10 April.
