The fire was extinguished by the emergency services around 4.40 pm. The woman’s body was found inside the house. The scene is currently being saved and the Garda Technical Office is conducting an examination. The services of the State Pathologist were requested. The results of the autopsy will determine the course of the garda examination. A man about 60 years old was arrested for an alleged criminal offense. He is currently being questioned at Ballyshannon Garda Station.
