Tiger Woods plans to play in the Masters this week, more than a year after suffering fatal leg injuries in a Los Angeles car crash. Woods announced his intentions on Tuesday during a press conference two days before the start of the first round of the Masters. He has not played in a high-level golf game since the 2020 Masters. The “Golden Bear” wrote on Twitter that he was happy to see Woods give him a chance. “I’m glad to hear that Tiger is going to give it to the Masters,” Nicklaus said in a statement. “Given where his life was 17 months ago, this is an incredible feat. It only reinforces the passion and work ethic that Tiger has always had. This is usually not an easy walk at first. Now given the circumstances that “My foot is in it, it gets even harder. The seventy-two holes is a long way and it will be a difficult challenge.
