“All the lanes reopened shortly after 1.30 p.m. “The incident involved an uninjured collision between a truck and a car on the north lane M5 between junctions 25 (Taunton) and 24 (Bridgwater), just before noon. “The road was initially closed for six to seven minutes, leading to a five-mile congestion, and after treating an oil spill in lane 2, traffic was then released in lanes 2 and 3, while lane 3 closed remained beyond the tent to wait for vehicle recovery. “Once the vehicles were recovered, lane 3 reopened and the remaining nine-mile slow delays remained in the area, but have now remained.”
