An eyewitness said: “There was a collision and the vehicle was on fire, it is out now, but the smoke is still visible from miles away. “There is a lot of traffic, police cars are spinning. There is also an ambulance on the highway that came from the M18 direction. “The highway is completely closed. The fire has now been extinguished, but the fire brigade was pumping water from a fire hydrant at the roundabout at the top of the exit at junction 36. “Traffic is increasing in all directions from the M62 back to Selby back to Goole. “There is a lot of traffic that can not be removed, so the traffic is slowly being filtered, but it seems to be quite serious.”
