It took place outside a licensed venue on Dublin Street in the city around 9.30pm. The 33-year-old was arrested as a suspect for assault and possession of suspected first-class drugs. A police spokesman said: “It was reported that around 9.30 pm, the victim was attacked by a man who punched him in the back of the head. A clash with many people took place outside the licensed facilities. Police rushed and a man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of suspected Class A drugs after the incident.
