After an autopsy on Tuesday, the man was identified as Majed Ahmed Zulfiqar, 26, of Calgary.
Police say that on Friday around 20:30, “unknown offenders” shot at an SUV parked in a strait near 301 16th Ave. NW
Zulfikar was shot several times and died shortly afterwards.
Police say they believe the perpetrator or perpetrators fled in a vehicle eastward on 16th Avenue, towards Edmonton Trail NE
However, police are seeking more information about the shooting. Ask anyone who can have video from the dashcam camera from 16th Avenue heading east or west between 10th Street NW and Deerfoot Trail NE, between 8 and 9 p.m. on Friday, to call the police emergency number at 403-266-1234.

Police say there have been nine homicides this year, three of which occurred last week.
The police are still there seeking information for the deadly shooting of a 10th grade student that happened on Thursday, and they have accused a man after death of a 39-year-old who happened to be on Friday.
