The victim was found at Lynn English High School on Goodridge Street. A group of about a dozen friends of the victim returned to the area on Sunday night to light candles and leave flowers, saying they would always remember him as someone who would light the room. “It will never be forgotten, because that is literally all for him,” said Guess Mejia, a close friend of the victim. Mejia and other friends gathered to create a makeshift monument in the back alley of Lynn English High School. “We just found out this morning, so we’re all speechless. It does not seem to be true,” said Nicole Morgan, another friend. NBC10 Boston & NECN did not identify the victim until police notified family members. “When I found out he was at school it was quite shocking. It’s not really happening around here,” said Jelenny Clark, who heard the gunshots. Clark lives across from the school. He said he heard three to four consecutive blows. I almost misinterpreted the fireworks shot, but then a lot of them exploded and I said, ‘Hmm, that sounds very close to home.’ Essex County investigators and Lynn police are searching for suspects, an effort the victim’s friends hope will bring them closer to finding a motive. “He was a very good kid, he loved music, he loved his family, he loved all his friends,” Mejia said. “He was so funny, he was always the clown in the room, he always tried to make everyone laugh. And yes, he was a good man, he was not a danger to anyone. He was like the last person he ever went through. They deserve it,” he said. Merley, another friend of the victim. Friends said the victim was from Salem and was an up-and-coming rapper. Anyone with information about the case is kindly requested to contact the police.
