Joshua Wilson has been honored on social media after his tragic death. One tribute described him as a “big lad” while another said: “I will always treasure the memories I have of you, I still quote you to this day how funny a kind-hearted guy you were”. The Major Conflict Investigation Team (MCET) would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident at Bradford Road, Pudsey, at approximately 2:25 p.m. yesterday. It happened when a black BMW M2, traveling to Pudsey, collided with Mr. Wilson, who was crossing the street after getting off a bus. He gave first aid and then medical help, but unfortunately confirmed that he died on the spot. The male driver of the M2 was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. The driver of a gray BMW X5, believed to be traveling alongside the M2, was also arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both are currently in custody. MCET DS Fiona Allan said: “We are continuing to investigate this very serious conflict that tragically resulted in a young man losing his life. “We would like to talk to anyone who saw or has video from the phone or the dashboard of the collision or who saw the BMW M2 and BMW X5 moments before the collision. “Anyone with material or information is kindly requested to contact the MCET at 101 with reference to the police diary 0896 of 11 April. “Information can also be obtained online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat.” West Yorkshire Police have not yet officially named Mr Wilson.
