Around 11:45 pm on Friday, March 11, there was a disturbance in the apartments on Walton Street. An argument broke out and a 20-year-old man suffered two stab wounds to the leg. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged. CCTV and witness investigations are ongoing to locate the suspect, and detectives have released images of a man they believe could help with their investigation. Fortunately he is now recovering, but that could be devastating for the victim. Such violence will never be tolerated in Merseyside. This incident took place at a time when the pub was busy on Friday afternoon, so there would be people who had seen the incident and I urge them to contact us. “I also urge people to show up if you recognize the man in the picture.
