Victoria Police are working to locate a man wanted on a warrant across Canada and believed to be in the city. Christopher Gaudet, 36, is wanted on a warrant for the suspension of his legal release. It carries a federal penalty of more than three years for possession of a weapon as opposed to a prohibition order, abduction while using a firearm and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Described as white, five feet seven and about 150 pounds with short blond hair and green eyes.
