An email from Seven Oaks School Superintendent Tuesday night said the closure would include all Catholic and Gray Academy schools in the city. Kindergartens in schools will also be closed. The schools are expected to reopen on Monday 18 April. The Brandon School Division also announced that it will close all its schools on Wednesday. “We hope the timing of this announcement gives parents the time they need to prepare,” the department said in a statement posted online. “We have not closed all schools in Brandon for a long time and this decision is not taken lightly.” All schools and facilities within The Prairie Rose School will be closed on Wednesday. Schools will also be closed Wednesday at Portage la Prairie, Southwest Horizon School and Rolling River School Division. The Fort La Bosse School Board announced that all schools within the department will be closed on Wednesday. The Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine department said all schools in the department will be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays except this one in Thompson. He said a decision on the school would be made on Wednesday. From Wednesday morning, the lessons in the following school sections are canceled for the 13th of April:
