In a press release Saturday, police say 83-year-old Gloria Mitton of Moncton, NB, was diagnosed with a medical problem shortly after 1 p.m. First aid was provided at the scene before being transported and taken care of by the New Brunswick ambulance. The woman died before being taken to hospital. A search was under way in the woods on Saturday morning following Mitton’s disappearance on Friday. RCMP thanks the public for their help in their search.
