Major League Baseball’s best and brightest stars gather at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night for the 2022 MLB All-Star Game. The All-Star Game concludes a hectic four-day event that included the Futures Game on Saturday, the first 80 picks of the MLB Draft 2022 on Sunday and the Home Run Derby on Monday. This is the 92nd edition of the Midsummer Classic and the first at Dodger Stadium since 1980. The American League has dominated the All-Star Game in recent years. They have won the last eight, 15 of the last 18 and 20 of the last 24 All-Star Games. That said, the all-time streak is only 46-43-2 in favor of the Junior Circuit. Here is viewing information for the 2022 MLB All-Star Game.

Stories
Brian Snitker, manager of the defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves, will guide a National League club looking to end their eight-game hitting streak in the American League. Houston Astros skipper Dusty Baker is managing the All-Star Game for the second time. Baker managed the NL in 2003 after taking the San Francisco Giants to the 2002 World Series, although he was the manager of the Chicago Cubs that season. It was the first time in history that an All-Star Game coach was not the manager of the team that went to the World Series the previous year. On the mound, Dodgers icon Clayton Kershaw will start for the NL club in its home field. He will be the first pitcher to start in his home field since Max Scherzer took the ball for the NL at Nationals Park in 2018. Rays lefty Shane McClanahan, not Angels star Shohei Ohtani, will take the ball for the AL team. Kershaw vs. Ohtani would be rather entertaining, though McClanahan certainly deserves the starting assignment. It is unknown if Ohtani, who has never made a major league appearance, will play in the All-Star Game. Check the opt-in box to confirm you want to join.
