MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has filed another lawsuit – this time against Eric Kummer, a former Dominion Voting Systems employee whom Lindell once accused of being a national traitor. Coomer’s lawyers, who worked as Dominion’s director of product strategy and security, filed a lawsuit against Lindell on Monday in connection with a defamation case against Pillow CEO and his online platform Frank Speech. Lindel sued in a mini-rally in Denver on Tuesday. —Ron Filipkowski 🇺🇦 (@RonFilipkowski) April 5, 2022 Coomer claimed in the complaint that his reputation had been “irreparably tarnished” by Lindell and Frank Speech. Kummer added that Lindell had published “many false statements, slanderous interviews and other dishonest content” slandering Frank Speech, along with “a sales pitch for MyPillow products”. Kummer also said Lindell made allegations about him at the “pillow banquet” of the pillow CEO in August in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where Lindell spent 72 hours promoting allegations of voter fraud. “Despite the fact that the baseless allegations of those accused of electoral fraud are refuted by credible authorities in all political parties, they insist on their campaign to take advantage of the ‘Big Lie’ by destroying the lives of individuals such as Dr. “Kumer,” the court said. “They have not acknowledged the damage they have caused, nor have they revoked any of their false statements.” The statement added that Kummer had received “frequent credible death threats”, which Kumer’s legal team attributed to “unjustified distrust” inspired by what the lawsuit called Lindell’s “lies”. Coomer, separately, has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Trump campaign and its allies. Asked about the lawsuit and the possibility of more Dominion-linked individuals being sued, Lindell dismissed it, saying that people like Coomer were trying to “cancel” his voice. “MyPillow and Frank Speech did nothing. I do not even know if I ever mentioned Eric Coomer,” Lindell told Insider. “They are trying to cancel Frank Speech, your favorite show!” Insider found that Lindell did mention Coomer on the Frank Speech platform last year. In September, Lindell appeared before Frank Speech and urged Coomer to surrender to authorities. “Eric Kummer, if I were you right now, instead of going and making deals on Newsmax, if I were you, I would surrender myself and be involved in the whole business,” he said, “so maybe, just maybe, you get immunity and you can do, I do not know, only 10 to 20 years “. It is unclear what Lindell was referring to, as Kummer was not – and still is not – known to face criminal charges. “You are disgusting and treacherous. You are a traitor to the United States of America. You know what: I can say that, just as I can about Brian Kemp and Brad Rafensperger,” Lindell said. “These are things for which I have proof. The evidence is there. It sits there.” Lindell is facing many other lawsuits. Voting technology companies Dominion and Smartmatic sued for promoting unfounded electoral claims. Dominion told a court in January there was no “realistic chance” it would settle its $ 1.3 billion lawsuit against Lindell, given the “catastrophic damage” it said it had caused to the company by himself and other allies of former President Donald Trump.
