New Owners Take Over Masonic Temple In St. John S

The Masonic Temple in downtown St. John’s has new owners. Morgan and Duncan MacRea hope to keep the public informed about their plans for the building. Morgan MacRea grew up in CBS but now calls Victoria, BC home. He says that as a “remote community member” he wanted to maintain a connection to the province. Duncan MacRea says they envision a space that encapsulates the culture of the province, including food and drink. Spirit of Newfoundland will continue to operate its diner in the building for the foreseeable future as planning continues.
