One Dead After School Bus And Suv Crash Near Alma

Wellington County Provincial Police say a man has been killed after a school bus and a vehicle collided east of Alma. Around 3:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews responded to a report of a serious accident at the intersection of Line 14 and Sideroad 21. Police say a school bus carrying 12 students and an SUV was involved in the collision. The driver and the only passenger of the SUV were found dead on the spot. The school bus driver and all the students were not injured. The Office of the Chief Justice has been informed. The IPP closed the intersection while members of the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team are investigating. Updates will be provided as soon as they become available.
