-ONE Larger font Increase the font size of the article A + Nova Scotia RCMP reports that a man pulled from the waters around Peggy’s Cove died and another who came out of the ocean suffered life-threatening injuries. The RCMP reports that the two men slipped off rocks in the area southwest of Halifax around 8:30 p.m. Monday. Const. Guillaume Treble says the investigation is being assisted by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office. Tremblay says RCMP officers, along with the Halifax Regional Fire and Rescue Service, the Joint Rescue Coordination Center and the Coast Guard, were called to the scene to help.
