COO Kinder Liu provided renders (see below) and some specifications to PCMag before full release later in April. As you can see, this is a much more square design than what we are used to seeing from the brand (except for the OnePlus X). In terms of specifications, OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord N20 will feature 6.43 inches FHD + AMOLED with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. This is quite a departure from the OnePlus Nord N10 5G (pictured above) and the 90Hz LCD screen. Liu points out that you do not have the contrast of OLED and the wider range of colors at this price in the North American market, which seems to be the main western market targeted by the N20 after significant success with the N10 and N100. Those of us in the UK and elsewhere have the Redmi Note 11 (RRP £ 199) and the Poco M4 Pro (RRP £ 249) with 90Hz AMOLED screens, although both phones lose 5G connectivity. We now also know that the phone will have a fingerprint scanner on the screen, instead of the side solution chosen by many budget phones. As expected, we learn that the OnePlus Nord N20 will pack fast SuperVooc charging, although we do not know for sure how fast. Rumor has it that it will be 30W. We had more than an idea that the sequel to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G had been in the works for quite some time. In November, a well-established tipster unveiled some early (and as it turns out, quite accurate) renders and specifications for the OnePlus Nord N20. Less accurate was a follow-up tip in January, which indicated the launch of the N20 in February. There is no confirmation for some of the other rumors surrounding the specs of the OnePlus Nord N20. So, for example, we do not yet know if it will have a Snapdragon 695 processor or if its dual camera will include a 48MP main camera and an extremely wide 8MP camera, as mentioned.
