The Ministry of Health says Moore will talk about “how the province manages COVID-19 and expands access to antiviral drugs.”
Moore spoke for the last time and received questions from the media on March 13.
Since then, the province has seen a recovery in the number of cases from limited PCR testing, an increase in the number of viral copies found in the province’s sewage and an upward trend in hospitalization.
Ontario Prime Minister Doug Ford, Health Minister Christine Eliot and Moore said this was “expected” as the province lifted most restrictions on COVID-19, including mandatory coverage on March 21.
Ford described the current trend in Ontario as a “small rise” and Ontario Public Health said last week that the time for big growth is linked to the end of restrictions.
Moore will speak at 1:00 p.m. from Queen’s Park.
CP24 will broadcast its observations live on air and online.
