Toronto police responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash in the area of ​​Warden Avenue and Comstock Road around 3:10 p.m.
Police said a 38-year-old man was standing on the southwest corner of the intersection when a red 2012 Lexus was northbound on Warden Avenue and attempted to turn left onto Comstock Road.
A silver 2009 Kia was also traveling south on Warden Avenue and entered the intersection striking the Red Lexus, police said.
The Kia then lost control and ran off the roadway, striking the pedestrian, according to police.
Initial reports said the man was likely pinned under the vehicle before being rescued.
The man was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
