A man in his thirties died at the hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday morning. According to the Winnipeg Police Department, a pedestrian was hit at around 06:30 at the intersection of Lagimodiere Avenue and Maginot Street. A man was taken to hospital in critical condition. The driver met with the police and has been identified. Police said Wednesday morning that the victim died from his injuries. The collision disrupted traffic south in the area for much of the morning. The streets reopened shortly before noon.
