Police were called shortly after 6:15 p.m. Friday at a house on the 500 block of Magnus Avenue in the North End of the city for a gunman. Police found the man outside a house and detained him. They then entered the house, where they found another man dead, the Winnipeg Police Department said in a press release on Saturday. No other information was given by the police about the incident, the age of the men or the charges.
