Photo: VPD Vancouver police have issued an arrest warrant across Canada for a high-risk sex offender who failed to return home. Police are looking for 55-year-old Kenneth Kirton, who has been missing since Monday afternoon. Vancouver police posted a photo of him hoping someone would recognize him and call 9-1-1. Kirton was convicted of sexual assault in 1987 and is now serving a 10-year long-term surveillance warrant. He has been declared a dangerous perpetrator and has been under surveillance by the Vancouver Police Department’s High Risk Offense Unit since March 2020. Kirton is described as five-legged, 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was shaved when he was last seen and was wearing a black hood, gray sneakers and black shoes. He has a lot of tattoos. Anyone who sees Kirton or has information on his whereabouts, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
