The body of 42-year-old Nicholas Billingham was found on a property on Moore Street in Northampton last month. Elementary school teacher Fiona Beal, who is said to be his partner, has been charged with murder. The 48-year-old is accused of committing the murder between October 30 and November 10 last year and has appeared in court. A police investigation launched in Northampton (Image: PA news wire) “In relation to the temporary cause of death, I have a statement from Dr. (Frances) Hollingbury, a registered medical examiner, for a stab wound to the neck, pending further examination. On this basis I now postpone this inquiry to 21 September. “ Beal, from Moore Street, Kingsley, Northampton, was arrested at a hotel in Cumbria on March 16. He is due to appear in Northampton Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on April 19. Northampton’s Eastfield Academy, where Beal worked before her arrest, said they were “shocked and saddened” to hear of Mr Billingham’s death. They described the incident as “a horrific tragedy that will shake our school community”.
