Missing man found dead in Yukon desert 6 days after partner found alive
One of two men reported missing in June after spending the winter in the Yukon wilderness has been found dead, according to Yukon RCMP. Evan Russell’s remains were found on July 1 in a remote area near the Lighthouse. He was 28 years old. The discovery, confirmed by the Yukon Coroner’s Service (YCS), came six days after Mitchell Fichten, the other man, also 28, was found alive in a remote area, RCMP said in a news release Tuesday.
