Midway residents are being asked to be on the lookout as two suspects may be on the loose in the community. RCMP said in a news release that two men may be in the Midway area after the stolen vehicle they were driving fled from police despite multiple attempts to intercept it. The search for the stolen vehicle initially began in the Kelowna area. When police attempted to stop the vehicle at around 4pm today, July 21, the driver fled from police. Midway RCMP were able to locate the stolen vehicle near an embankment in the area of Florence Street and Fritz Street. The suspects, both Caucasian males in their 40s, wearing all black, have not been located. Midway RCMP are warning local residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious persons or activity to police immediately.
