Moscow acted after Washington imposed sanctions on 328 members of the Russian State Duma, or lower house of parliament, on March 24 in response to the invasion of Ukraine. The move barred all of the 328 property they owned in the United States and barred them from doing business with U.S. citizens. The State Duma has a total of 450 legislators. Canada announced on February 24 that it was adding 351 members of the Duma to its sanctions list. Sign up now for FREE unlimited access to Reuters.com Register Report by David Ljunggren.
